The price of a gram of 21 carat gold in the local market today increased by 12 thousand Syrian pounds from yesterday's price.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, the 21-carat gram recorded the selling price of 21,000 Syrian pounds and the purchase price of 209,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached the selling price of 180,000 pounds and the purchase price of 179,500 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued, and also called on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except in accordance with the bulletin issued by the association. It also distributed telephone numbers for complaints 2230766 and 2248005.
