They are responding to the call of the National Federation of Farmers' Unions (FDSEA) and Young Farmers.
Several hundred tractors, arriving from the Rhône, Isère and Loire but also from Drôme and Ardèche, will converge on Lyon this Thursday.
Farmers will use the major roads and motorways around the Lyon metropolitan area: disruptions are to be expected, in particular on the A89, A42, A6, A7 and A89 until the beginning of the following. -midday.
Further west, 2,000 farmers from the “
departments of the Grand Massif Central
” should also demonstrate this Thursday in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme).

For the demonstrators, it is a question of denouncing the declination of the future Common Agricultural Policy in the National Strategic Plan, whose work is in progress.

To reduce dependence on imported soybeans, particularly from Brazil, the Ministry of Agriculture intends to develop French production of vegetable proteins.
