The price of a gram of 21 carat gold on the local market today has decreased to 3 thousand Syrian pounds.
According to the bulletin issued by the Handicraft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus, the price of a gram of 21-carat gold was recorded as the selling price of 162,000 Syrian pounds and the purchase price of 161500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached the selling price of 138,857 pounds and the purchase price of 138,357 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except in accordance with the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 2248005 and 0991937718.
