The CGT leads the elections in very small businesses

The ballot was distinguished by a very low turnout due to the Covid but also a lack of notoriety. From March 22 to April 6, employees of very small businesses (TPE) were invited to vote, online or by mail, to appoint their representatives. As in 2017, the CGT won the ballot with 26.3% of the vote, ahead of the CFDT (16.5%), Unsa (15.9%) and FO (13.8%). As in 2017, the CGT won the ballot with 26.3% of the vote, ahead of the CFDT (16.5%), Unsa (15.9%) and FO (13.8%).

responded the secretary general of the CGT, Philippe Martinez.

The results, known Friday at the end of the day, were however marred by the very low participation of employees.

Only 265,762 voted out of the nearly 5 million who were called upon to vote, that is to say a participation of 5.4%, after 7.4% in 2017.
