From March 22 to April 6, employees of very small businesses (TPE) were invited to vote, online or by mail, to appoint their representatives.
As in 2017, the CGT won the ballot with 26.3% of the vote, ahead of the CFDT (16.5%), Unsa (15.9%) and FO (13.8%).
"We are satisfied that the CGT remains the leading trade union organization and that it is growing by more than 1%, including among executives,"
responded the secretary general of the CGT, Philippe Martinez.
"The employees of the VSEs have chosen the CGT and its unionism of proposal, protest, demand, struggle and negotiation!"

The results, known Friday at the end of the day, were however marred by the very low participation of employees.
Only 265,762 voted out of the nearly 5 million who were called upon to vote, that is to say a participation of 5.4%, after 7.4% in 2017.
