The government's decision to close meat exports for 30 days achieved something unthinkable: uniting the main groups in the field and the controversial former Secretary of Internal Trade, Guillermo Moreno, in his criticism of Alberto Fernández.

Grim, as always, the former official K was categorical: "Alberto Fernández has to copy the government of Néstor Kirchner

not Alfonsín's, because he is going to end Alfonsín,

" he launched.

"The President has the

government of the radicals

in his head

and he is going to end up like the radicals,

" Moreno launched in a dialogue with Radio

Metro 95.1

, implying that if Fernández does not change his policies, he could face the same problems as the management of Alfonsinism. who left power early in 1989. "You have to keep your house in order."

In this sense, former Secretary K said that the President “has to do what Kirchner did, have a surplus, spend less than what you collect in fiscal terms and sell more to the world than what you buy from him.

Closing exports does not even work for you ... you

need dollars and you will close exports,

"he questioned.

“The President has to do what Kirchner did, not copy Alfonsín.

You have to tidy up the economy.

As long as the President makes a face of nothing and does nothing, this will continue like this,

"he insisted.

Regarding the role of the current Secretary of Commerce of the Nation, Moreno said:

"What could Paula Español do with this president? With this president he cannot do anything

.

"

He also argued that when he took office, appointed by Nestor Kirchner, there was a closure of meat exports.

“I arrived and after 3 weeks the exports were opened.

Once you have things in order, you have things in order ”.

“You think that spending is the same as not spending, let's see who sounds better to your ear, the one who comes and says '

spend what you want, there is no problem, the deficit is a lie from the adjusters

' or the one who tells you '

look, President, he's getting out of hand, we can't continue spending like this because everything is going to hell

'.

If you're President of

what you want to

hear:

? To Kicillof or Moreno "

he asked

"It's easy for a kid to come and say don't worry, Kicillof, Marco del Pont, they're all from the same school," he said, blaming the current Buenos Aires governor and the head of the AFIP for the current economic developments.

Moreno said that the problem is that "

Alberto Fernández does not have Peronists in economics

" and even questioned the President's ability to understand the issue. “You have to see if he understands, he is not quick to understand, he is not a boy that you explain and understand.

Do you think that Alberto Fernández is a scientist? He does not look in the mirror

. He is a university professor of introductory subjects, when a boy goes and explains he does not always understand ”.

“Kicillof the last two years (of the K government), made a disaster, then Macri followed, the same song, which ended up going into debt because he always lived off someone else's money, and now comes this one that occurred to him to give the little machine, and so on we're.

If he does not do what Kirchner did, he will end up like Alfonsín

”, concluded the controversial ex-official.

Closure of exports and unemployment

On Monday, the government decided to close meat exports for 30 days as a result of the constant rise in prices in the sector.

In that period, a set of emergency measures will be implemented to order the operation of the sector, restrict speculative practices, improve the traceability of exports and avoid tax evasion in foreign trade, the Casa Rosada detailed in a statement.

Meat prices have risen 65% in recent months.

"I had to explain to the exporters that

the meat issue clearly got out of hand,

" said Alberto Fernández when defending his decision.

Speaking to

Radio 10

, he assured that they have to "put order in those who export" and spoke of prohibiting the sale of meat for export in the Liniers Market.

As a result, the main groups in the countryside not only rejected the measure, but also announced a 9-day strike.

The measure was taken by the four entities of the Mesa de Enlace, a group that was born in 2008 in the fire of the fight with the Government of Cristina Kirchner by resolution 125 that raised the withholdings.

It was ratified by Jorge Chemes (Cra), Carlos Iannizzotto (Coninagro), Daniel Pelegrina (Rural Society) and Carlos Achetoni (Agrarian Federation).

"The closure of meat exports for 30 days is a mistake and a step backwards in every sense. It will cause irreparable damage to a productive sector that has shown that it generates employment and activity throughout the national territory," said Pelegrina, president of the Rural Society.
