The price of a gram of 21 carat gold in the local market increased by 3 thousand pounds from its price last week, affected by the global rise in the price of an ounce, which recorded 1907 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, the 21-carat gram recorded the selling price of 160,000 Syrian pounds and the purchase price of 159,500 Syrian pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached the selling price of 137,143 pounds and the purchase price of 136,643 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the pricing issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed telephone numbers for complaints 2248005 and 0991937718.
