The price of a gram of 21 karat gold in the local market today decreased by one thousand Syrian pounds.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Making Jewelry in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a price of 158 thousand Syrian pounds for sale and 157,500 for purchase, while the price of a gram of 18 carat gold for sale amounted to 135,429 pounds and 134,929 pounds for purchase.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens who wish to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by it, and it distributed phone numbers for complaints: 2248005 and 0991937718.
