The Cooperative Agricultural Bank issued a circular today to its branches in the governorates to disburse the values of the grain crop “wheat” to farmers without asking them to submit clearances of their debts to the ministries of finance, water resources and electricity.
In a statement to SANA’s representative, the Director General of the Bank, Ibrahim Zidan, explained that the disbursement of the values of wheat crops to farmers who handed over their crops to Syria for grains will be made on the personal identity of the farmer only according to the circular issued today by the Agricultural Bank, which was duly implemented.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Engineer Hussein Arnous, had agreed today with the recommendation of the Economic Committee, which includes the Agricultural Cooperative Bank’s disbursement of the values of the grain crop “wheat” to farmers without requiring them to submit a clearance for their debts to the ministries of “Finance, Electricity and Water Resources” with the aim of facilitating the procedures for receiving the wheat season from peasants.
