The head of the center, Engineer Ahmed Al-Sayer, told SANA reporter that the marketing operations in the center started since the 27th of last May, and it is dedicated to receiving wheat from farmers in the eastern countryside of the governorate. Marketing operations are carried out according to easy procedures to enable farmers to deliver their wheat.

He pointed out that the institution has prepared the open yards to receive the covered grain, calibrate the weights, prepare the laboratories and form committees in the center, while taking measures to protect against fires from tanks and tractors, where the mechanisms loaded with wheat are unloaded according to the date of their arrival, then weigh their load, take an initial sample, unload the load and analyze the sample to determine the grade and price of the wheat Organizing the purchase list and sending it to the Agricultural Bank for disbursement of its value.

Al-Sayer indicated that the turnout is good from farmers and agricultural associations due to the facilities provided, calling on all farmers in the eastern countryside of the governorate to hand over their entire crop to the center.

A number of farmers noted the facilities provided during the marketing process or the exchange of wheat values, whether by the Grain Corporation or the Agricultural Bank.
