The value of the contracts contracted by the General Company for Construction and Development for the current year amounted to 41 billion Syrian pounds, distributed between contracts for towers, contracts with the Public Corporation for Housing and the Ministry of Water Resources, and water and sewage contracts in Damascus and its countryside.
In a statement to SANA, Eng. Kamal Hassan, director of the company’s southern region branch, explained that the contracts included the completion of a number of towers in several projects, including equipping two towers in the Basilia City project (the second organizational area south of the southern ring road) completely at a value of 15 billion pounds for each tower to be implemented with the latest types servicing
Hassan pointed out that the company contracted to complete two towers in the Al-Fayhaa suburb of Qudsaya, at a cost of approximately 2.5 billion pounds for each tower. A 14-storey tower.
And the Southern Region branch of the General Company for Construction and Development completed during the year 2020 its work plan by 118 percent, with a value of seven billion and one hundred million pounds, while its completion rate for this year from the planned plan to date reached 115 percent despite the difficult circumstances in securing fuel and cement in addition to the Corona pandemic, according to Hassan.
