A number of representatives of companies and institutions specialized in construction and reconstruction considered that participation in the International Building Exhibition “Buildex 2021” is an opportunity for partnership and direct communication and creating opportunities for networking with workers and those interested in this sector in order to implement projects that meet the needs of the local market in the reconstruction phase.
SANA monitored the atmosphere of the exhibition, which is currently being held on the grounds of the exhibition city in Damascus, where a number of company owners drew attention to the large turnout that the exhibition witnessed since its opening last Thursday. Waseem Barakat, marketing manager of a company for the manufacture of insulation and cooling materials, pointed out that these industries are in great demand and it is important to introduce companies’ production The local market in this field and how competitive it is in terms of quality and diversity.
Barakat described the exhibition as qualitative in terms of the multiplicity of participating companies and to introduce visitors to various types of these industries and raise their competitive capabilities in addition to the possibility of serving major projects in the public and private sectors and expanding the scope of companies' work.
Ramez Huwaijem, Executive Director of a company specialized in the production of metal facilities for the industrial and residential sectors, explained that his company produces communication towers and operating platforms according to the latest technologies in this field, especially residential buildings mixed between metal and concrete. All of this needs to introduce products and communicate with partners, and for this reason we participated in the Buildex exhibition.
Rami Dabit, CEO of a wood decoration company, confirmed that specialized exhibitions have a role in attracting the interested segment and in completing agreements and signing contracts directly, while Ayman Al-Safadi from one of the companies specialized in the production of paint materials and floor insulators considered that the exhibition enables participants to exchange experiences in addition to introducing the largest number Including and the importance of its participation in the reconstruction phase.
Rashid Abbas, from one of the companies specialized in decoration works, indicated that he is participating for the second time in the exhibition, pointing out that the heavy demand for the exhibition created an atmosphere of partnership and integration, where visitors find more than one specialty and type in the field of construction from different companies, while “Mazen Abu Walda, representative of Salalim Company, explained that the company participated The exhibition has been on display since its first session to showcase its newest in the field of manufacturing stairs, with distinct techniques and types.
Khaled Saad El-Din, representative of a firefighting company, pointed out that the interest in modern technologies for extinguishing, alarms and surveillance cameras has become of interest to all companies, institutions and even residential homes to protect against fires and other accidents, so the company found a space in the exhibition to display and market the latest technologies in this field.
The exhibition’s services were not limited to companies specialized in construction and equipment, but went beyond it to engineering studies companies, according to Engineer Amer Muradni, CEO of a private company, explaining that the exhibition was receiving good turnout and qualitative participation of local, Arab and foreign companies.
