The price of a gram of 21 karat gold in the local market increased by three thousand pounds today, affected by the increase in the price of an ounce globally.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsman Association for Crafting and Making Jewelry in Damascus, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 161 thousand Syrian pounds and 160,500 pounds to buy, while the price of an 18-carat gram reached 138 thousand pounds for sale and 137,500 for purchase.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on those wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 0991937718-2248005.
