Almaviva Santé, the fourth group of private clinics in France, will change owners.
Four years after entering the capital as majority shareholder, the Antin Infrastructure Partners fund will sell its shares to the British Wren House Infrastructure.
This fund, whose investments come from the sovereign wealth fund of Kuwait, will own 60% of Almaviva Santé.
According to our information, the operation would value the group 1.5 billion euros.

The remainder of the capital will be held by the investor Yves Journel, historical shareholder of the group of 5,100 employees, the doctors and the management (around 10%) and Bpifrance (6%), which is entering the capital.
"Bpifrance should have a place on the board of directors
," specifies Anne-Sophie Herelle, in the direction of development capital at Bpifrance.
Our ambition is to help the group grow.
The pandemic has confirmed the fact that private clinics are an essential link in the health sector. ”
Consolidate
Created thirteen years ago in Marseille, Almaviva Santé is present in the Paca region and Île-de-France, where it has 41 clinics. This year, it expects to achieve a turnover of more than 550 million euros (twice more than in 2017).
"Almaviva Santé retains its independence,"
says Yann Coléou, Chairman of the group.
We will continue to participate in the consolidation of the private clinic sector. ”
Acquisitions of regional or independent groups are increasing. In 2018-2019, nearly 15% of general clinics in France changed hands.
"Our objective is to use this growth to serve the densification of our network of establishments in the Paca region and in Ile-de-Frances, in order to allow, for example, the specialization of clinics",
explains Yann Coléou.
