The

digital transformation

of local businesses is a positive side effect of the pandemic.

And while more and more new solutions are emerging in the financial market that aim at the integral management of money in electronic form for retail users, the demand of

SMEs

to

digitize

their operations

remains high

.

With this in mind,

Interbanking

, a company that

It has been

operating in the country for

30 years

, making progress in the last year in the transformation of its brand. The company is owned by nine local banks:

Santander, Citi, BBVA, HSBC, Galicia, Banco Nación, BNP Paribas, ICBC and Banco Patagonia.

Now he presented a new platform that centralizes all the financial operations of a company

in one place

.

One of the two clearing houses of the financial system chose to transform itself to provide services to companies.

Agustín Parodi

, CCO of the company, expressed in dialogue with

Clarín:

"It is a platform where companies

can connect 7 by 24,

from any computer and with the security levels that these companies require. We did a whole change of identity."

Parodi explained: "Companies enter and can have access to all the balances of their bank accounts to make from transfers, balance inquiries, salary payments or suppliers. But in turn, they can

manage their collections,

so it helps to collect cash flows and value added services, which has to do with

digital invoices

,

bills electronic credit

and others. "

Interbanking

processes more than 100 million transfers throughout the country annually.

For example,

90% of the tax, social security and customs collection of the AFIP

is made through its platform (of the national payment system). The platform already operates with more than

200,000 clients,

mostly SMEs.

The transformation process took just over a year and meant the incorporation of "new figurines", which accelerated his vision of a digital solution. Parodi explained that it did not require a large investment of money to carry out this transformation, but rather to generate a

change of mentality

so that the proposal is based on the client's needs and the way to achieve it based on

agile

methodologies

.

For this relaunch, Interbanking sought strategic partners such as

Accenture, AWS and Baufest.

"We did a research study to find out what the client's specific needs were. We went from having a single service for everyone to a

tailored

proposal

, more segmented according to needs: it is not the same what the CFO of a large oil company is looking for. the owner of an SME, "explained the executive.

One of the pillars of the proposal is

security of operations

.

"Being an electronic clearinghouse, we are 100% regulated by the BCRA and everything we do is 100% safe. This is not a minor fact for a company that handles billions of pesos, for example, to

pay salaries

.

we represent 90% of the amount of the transfers

. Security and approval levels are at the center of the proposal, "said Parodi.
