DOT shopping is putting the finishing touches on its
conversion
after the departure of the Wal Mart supermarket and the Falabella chain.
In these vacant places there are also an offer of 5-a-side football pitches, medical offices and gastronomic spaces, among other proposals.
IRSA, the company that owns
14 shopping centers
in the country, began to design the conversion two years ago.
In the middle they went through seven months of 2020 with the premises closed due to the pandemic and another two months of confinement so far this year due to the effect of the second wave.
And now, after an investment of
US $ 3 million
by the company and about
US $ 2.5 million
by the new tenants, the "new shopping center" is beginning to open.
With the new premises they will cover four axes: life style, recreation, health and gastronomy.
In most of the 7,500 meters spread over three floors that Falabella occupied, there is now a Life Style Center, a show room in which three firms coexist: Patagonia Flooring, the wooden flooring company that is the usual supplier of the projects of Irsa, the design and decoration company Fontenla and the A2 group, Archivo Activos, with office furniture and an area that in the future will function as
a coworking space.
Wine up store at DOT shopping.
Two sports and outdoors companies will be set up on the middle floor.
And the ground floor was already occupied by the Rouge cosmetics store, which was already present at the DOT with a smaller store.
In the space occupied by the supermarket, the greatest novelty is provided by the company La cancha.
It will open
two soccer fields 5, with a bar and a thematic store.
On that floor there will be
space for gamers
, with the Neverland attractions complex adapted to adolescents and young adults.
A headquarters for Sport Club, the chain of gyms, was also installed.

Another novelty will be that the space dedicated to health.
On the one hand, Swiss Medical will have external clinics.
To this is added a Vacunarte headquarters, which is already operating, the More Vision optician and a Farmacity store.
In addition, a Santander branch was installed.
And the gastronomic area is covered by a Wine up store,
a chain of wineries of Mendoza origin
, a gourmet products market and a premises of the Hausbrot company.
In addition, the DOT will have a new restaurant, Moii and will have two other proposals on the terraces, Maldini and Aribau.
A new shopping
In Irsa they highlight that this new space is practically equivalent
to twice the footage of the Arcos District
