Friday, Bison futé advises to leave or cross the Île-de-France before 2 p.m.
In the middle of the afternoon, in the direction of departures, motorists should avoid traveling on several axes, including the A6, between Beaune and Lyon, the A7, between Lyon and Marseille, and the A71 between Orléans and Clermont-Ferrand.
Very difficult traffic is expected this Saturday, August 7 in the direction of departures: it will even be "
black
" in the Rhône valley, on the A7 motorway, where traffic will be "
exceptionally difficult
". In the direction of departures, Bison futé advises leaving Île-de-France before 6 a.m. or after 3 p.m. On all major axes, the A10, A6, A9, A20 and A62 motorways will be particularly congested. It is advisable to avoid the A7 motorway between Lyon and Orange, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Salon-de-Provence and Marseille.
Sunday, for departures and returns, traffic should be more fluid.
