Oil prices fell today, more than 2%, to continue their large losses incurred last week, against the background of the rise in the US dollar and due to new restrictions to confront the Corona pandemic in Asia.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell $1.52, or 2.2 percent, to $69.17 a barrel, after falling 6 percent last week, in their biggest loss in four months.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell $1.64, or 2.4 percent, to $66.64 a barrel, after dropping nearly 7 percent last week, the biggest decline in nine months.
