The price of a gram of 21 karat gold in the local market today rose by 3 thousand Syrian pounds from the price of yesterday, affected by the increase in the price of an ounce globally to 1780 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsman Association for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 163,000 pounds and a purchase price of 162,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 139,714 pounds and a purchase price of 139,214 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to purchase gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by it, and it distributed phone numbers for complaints - 09991937718-2248005.
