SMEs: what are the 18% rate loans launched by the Government and who can access it

The Government announced

the expansion by $ 5000 million

of the quota of

the Direct Credits line

, without bank intervention, destined to finance productive investment projects of micro and small companies and cooperatives, with a term of up to seven years and

at a subsidized rate of 18 % per year.

They are loans for SMEs in these productive sectors: Industry;

Industrial services;

Agroindustry;

Oil and gas;

Metalworking;

Textile and footwear and Autopartista

.

If the companies are led by women,

"other sectors of activity may be incorporated at the discretion of the Enforcement Authority,"

indicated from the Ministry of Productive Development.

After the expansion, the Direct Credits line

reaches a total of $ 8,500 million

, since they are added to the $ 3,500 million that had already been launched and of which

more than 85%

were

granted.

"Due to the maintenance of the demand for financing, the expansion of the program was determined to meet its objectives: the financial inclusion of micro and small companies that have difficulties accessing bank financing," reported from the portfolio headed by Matías Kulfas through a statement.

  • Who is it aimed at

    : sole proprietorships, cooperatives, joint-stock companies, LLCs and other organizations (except those that are registered with the AFIP in the monotax)

    and develop productive investment projects, with a minimum of 12 months verifiable sales. 

    20% of the quota

    companies led or owned by women.

  • What amounts can be requested

    : FONDEP finances from

    $ 200,000 to $ 15 million

    per project.

  • What percentage the State finances

    : the loan finances

    up to 80% of the project

    presented, while

    the remaining 20% ​​is in charge of the requesting company.

  • Repayment term

    : the financing has a one-year grace period, with a payment term of up to seven years (including the grace period).


  • At what rate it finances

    : it is nominal, annual,

    fixed and pesos of 18%

    .


  • Guarantees

    : they can be backed by Reciprocal Guarantee Societies (SGR) and other Guarantee Funds.

  • What projects can be financed

    : the financing must be destined to the incorporation of new capital goods, the expansion or remodeling of the productive infrastructure of the company.

    Incremental working capital associated with the investment project can also be financed.

  • Requirements

    : the company must have a minimum of 12 months of verifiable sales.

  • Seven sectors

    : Industry, Industrial Services, Agroindustry, Oil and gas, Metalworking, Textile and footwear, and Autoparts.

    In the case of being companies led by women, they can incorporate other sectors of activity at the discretion of the Enforcement Authority.

How to request the loan

  • Download and complete the Investment Plan.

  • Enter the TAD platform and look for the procedure "FONDEP - Financing a MiPyME - REACTIVACIÓN PRODUCTIVA".

    There it is indicated how to do the procedure.

  • Complete the form and attach the documentation required in the Terms and Conditions, including the Investment Plan and the Environmental and Social Affidavit.

  • Once the form is completed, you will obtain a file number with which you will be able to consult from TAD the status of your procedure.
