The
International Monetary Fund (IMF)
requested this Sunday that countries use
"responsibly and wisely"
the special funds that will be drawn tomorrow for a total of US $ 650,000 million, of which
Argentina will receive US $ 4,355 million.
The organization made that call through a tweet that reproduces the words of its director, Kristalina Georgieva.
Tomorrow, IMF member countries will receive the new Special Drawing Rights (SDR) allocation.
Countries must use the new SDRs responsibly and wisely for the benefit of all people.

This is
the highest historical figure
that the IMF distributes among its member countries as Special Drawing Rights (SDR).
It is a global package
to help alleviate the effects of the coronavirus.
The Argentine government has already decided that part of the US $ 4,355 million it will receive will be used to
cancel the debt due with the IMF itself
for about US $ 3,600 million this year.
