Nearly 250 Roma have stolen and destroyed part of the brand new premises of a family business based in Ile-de-France.


In an industrial area of ​​Évry-Courcouronnes (91), the boss of a company found his company ransacked after eight months of squatting.

Nearly 250 Roma illegally occupied its premises for eight months, reports Le Parisien-Today-en-France.

Justice also ordered the squatters to pay 5,000 euros per month squatted, but they are not solvent.

At the suggestion of social assistance, two Roma families were relocated.

With the new “anti-squat” law which allows squatters to be evicted in 72 hours maximum, 77% of owners have recovered their homes, according to the government.
