The stock markets in the Gulf closed today lower, affected by the fall of Wall Street.
Reuters reported that the Saudi index fell 0.7 percent, extending its losses, under the pressure of a decline in Al-Rajhi Bank shares by 0.3 percent and the Saudi company Sabic by 1.1 percent.
In Abu Dhabi, the index lost 0.5 percent, down from its record level, and Etisalat Group lost 1.4 percent.
Dubai's index fell 0.4%, as Dubai Islamic Bank fell 0.8%, and Aramex fell 0.8%.
Qatar's index fell 0.2 percent and Commercial Bank fell 1.1 percent.
