The call by President Alberto Fernández to the presentation of the law to encourage investments in oil brought together businessmen in the sector, as expected.
And, in the front rows, was Daniel Funes de Rioja, the head of the UIA.
It was after the presidential rudeness in the act of celebration of the day of the Industry.
Funes de Rioja
spoke with the President
on the spot, according to what he said.
And they agreed to hold a later meeting, he explained.
Is your appearance a reaction to the absence of the President on Industry Day?
Clarín
asked
the industrial leader.
“We do not get involved in party politics.
Today we are satisfied by this call (the stimulus to oil), where the chambers of the sector, the unions and the Government were able to gather in an example of collaboration, ”he explained.
"So you liked that the president didn't attend?"
Clarín
insisted
.
“No, of course we would have liked him to come.
But we were just talking, and
we agreed to have a meeting next week
.
The date will probably be set by the President in his agenda ”, he added.
Pablo Gonzalez, president of YPF;
Sergio Affronti, CEO of the state oil company;
Marcos Bulgheroni, president of Pan American Energy (PAE);
Marcelo Mindlin, from Pampa;
and Hugo Eurnekian, from Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC) were some of the businessmen present.
In the speeches to introduce the law, Energy Secretary Darío Martinez spoke of gas pipelines necessary for development.
The Minister of Economy, Martin Guzmán, focused on criticizing the previous administration, although there also seemed to be
some invoices passed to various referents of the Frente de Todos.
President Alberto Fernández focused on the productive aspects of the law.
The stimulus to production establishes
fiscal stability for 20 years
for companies.
And export permits whose currency they could withhold abroad.
If the companies have supplied the local market, and can demonstrate “Incremental” production (that is, higher than in previous years), they will be able to request export permits.
This export permit will allow them to leave up to 50% of the foreign exchange obtained from this activity outside the country, forcing them to enter the rest of the dollars into the local market.
Although all the governors of oil provinces were present.
The words of Arabela Carreras, governor of Río Negro, were striking.
"We did not know the bill in its entirety until today," he
told reporters.
Most of the businessmen did not comment at the end of the event.
