The General Company for Metallurgical Industries “Barada” announced the launch of four new products in the local market at competitive prices.
In a statement to SANA’s representative, Engineer Ali Abbas, general manager of the company, explained that the new products are a 24-foot refrigerator with two regular doors, updated at a price of one million and 298 thousand pounds for the distributor, and at a price of one million and 362 thousand and five hundred pounds for the consumer, and a 16-foot refrigerator with two regular updated doors at a price of one million and 194 thousand pounds for the distributor and at a price of one million and 362 thousand and five hundred pounds for the consumer. One million and 254 thousand pounds for the consumer.
Abbas indicated that the other two products are the Dolphin electric fan and the new floor electric fan. The price of the two models for the distributor is 166,000 pounds, and the consumer 175,000 pounds.
Eng. Abbas indicated that the modernization of the refrigerator included all components of the refrigerators, “the copper cooling circuit, its sections, engine accessories, and others” to maintain the longest possible period of cooling during periods of power outages.
He stressed that the prices of these products were set on the basis of studying the costs of production inputs and probing market prices of similar products with technical specifications to be less than 10 percent at a minimum with the aim of positive intervention in the market of household appliances and equipment, taking into account the real guarantee of the product, which extends for years as a guarantee of replacement parts, considering this updated product. A durable good that lasts in the consumer's home.
Abbas pointed out that the company continues to develop and diversify its products while maintaining the usual quality and the right price.
