Meet VAZA, a new Israeli platform for ordering bouquets directly from logistics centers and stores across the country, the platform is currently being launched to offer innovative technology that will generate additional revenue streams for the local agriculture industry, specific to flower growers, and flower shops without online activity. With the entry of the new player into the market, the monopoly in the bouquet market in Israel, estimated at hundreds of millions of shekels, will be broken.

The RT CAPITAL fund of the Teleclal Group (from the owners of BUYME) and "Reshet 13" invested about NIS 10 million in a platform set up by Roy Eliyahu, a second-generation flower farm from Moshav Kfar Ruth, with rich experience in the flower field in all its aspects. . The new platform will be powered by BUYME, the digital gift brand.

BUYME is a member of this investment in "Reshet 13", which is managed by Avi Ben Tal and, as stated, by Roy Eliyahu. The transaction led by the "Network 13" Eran Hochman, Deputy CEO of Business Development and Investments. Elijah is the owner and founder of "Rael Technologies' specializes in building and promoting websites in the field of flowers and is accompanied by 80 florists elite across the country.

According to an announcement The venture, the competitive advantage of the VAYA platform operated by BUYME lies in two strengths, one serving the final consumer (buyer) and the other the florist (seller): for the buyer, the platform will produce a very wide range of bouquets from logistics centers set up by VAZA as well as dozens Up to hundreds of different flower shops across the country in a wide price range equal to each person.

For the seller (flower shop), BUYME's regular and stable customer base will make it easier for sellers on the platform to reach significant market shares in a fast period of time.

BUYME works with over 1,200 businesses in Israel, and its services are used by over 5,000 companies and organizations in the Israeli economy - a valuable distribution power for small businesses such as flower shops.

Thus, those stores will be able to produce from scratch or significantly increase their online activity, i.e. increase their sales turnover.

Currently, there are 30 stores nationwide and in the coming months the platform is expected to gradually recruit more boutique stores.

The target for BUYME is 50 stores in the coming months.

As a broader outcome, the VAZA platform can help farmers across the country market their wares to a larger customer base and help the Israeli agricultural industry - and specifically the flower industry - run into difficulties following the corona crisis.

Market size: about NIS 320 million a year

Orders placed through VAZA's website will be picked up and delivered to the logistics centers or the store closest to the designated delivery area.

In order to produce a high and uniform standard for all flower shops on the platform, VAZA will be responsible for the freshness of the flowers, their quality and customer satisfaction.

On the VAZA website you can find a catalog of about 100 bouquets of flowers, flower pots and accompanying culinary gifts such as: selected chocolate packages from the boutique company De Carina, a selection of fine wines carefully selected by Ronen Arditi, founder of the first wine school in Israel, and more.

The collaboration between BUYME and Roy Eliyahu was formed with the aim of expanding its activities to a territory in which it has not yet had a foothold: the flower market. According to a review from last May by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the local market in Israel consumes all the variety of flowers that exist in the world, and therefore all types of flowers are grown here. Today there are about 350 flower growers in Israel, and the main growing area is the center of the country, the Sharon and the Hefer Valley, but there are also growers in the western Negev, Golan, Galilee, Judea, Samaria, Lachish and Arava.

According to the same recent survey, the volume of the local market is estimated at about 400 million flowers a year, with a monetary value of about NIS 320 million.

The launch of VAZA is part of BUYME's strategy to expand its operations. In the past year, the company has established a joint activity with the Israeli start-up well-b, which has developed a data-based platform for customizing organizational happiness experiences. The company also acquired the start-up Meetinkz, which enables the rental of meeting and event spaces in leading cities in Israel and around the world.

: "As part of the cooperation with" Reshet 13 "for investing in Israeli companies, we are pleased with the opportunity we have to continue to increase the added value that BUYME offers its customers. Adds an important tier to the company's place as a leader in the gift market in Israel. "
