Oil prices rose today, extending their gains from last week, and reaching their highest levels in several years, as global supplies remain tight.
Reuters reported that US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 62 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $84.38 a barrel, after rising 1.5 percent last Friday.
Brent crude futures rose 56 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $86.09 a barrel, after last Friday's 1.1 percent gain.
