The A13 motorway was cut in both directions of traffic between the Paris exit and the Saint-Cloud tunnel on Sunday evening.
Still closed Monday morning, the cut resulted in many traffic jams.
According to the Ile-de-France road management at the Sytadin site, the closure follows
“a theft of cables leading to the loss of safety equipment in the Ambroise Paré tunnel”
in Boulogne-Billancourt in Hauts-de- Seine.
The Ile-de-France Roads Department advises alternative routes: to leave Paris, Sytadin recommends taking the N118, then the N12 towards Dreux to finally take the A12 towards Rocquencourt.
In the direction of Paris, Sytadin advises to take the A12, the N12 towards Créteil, the N118 towards Pont de Sèvres before recovering the Paris ring road.
