China's daily coal production has hit a historic high with the country's efforts to boost its energy supply.
As many as 12.05 million tons of coal were produced yesterday, 120,000 tons more than the previous record, the China National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement today.
China's coal production has witnessed a remarkable recovery in recent years to meet the increasing demand for energy sources.
