The General Organization for Foreign Trade and an Indonesian agro-food industries company discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of importing a basket of foodstuffs and the areas of marketing for the company's products to Syria through the private sector, in a virtual meeting today.
Following the meeting between the Director of the General Corporation for Foreign Trade, Shadi Jawhara, in a statement to SANA, the meeting is a stepping stone to open areas of cooperation and establish commercial and economic relations with the Indonesian side in the field of rice supply, which is its main product as it is distinguished by its quality.
Jawhara pointed out that the standard specifications book was sent to the company that produces foodstuffs such as rice, coffee, lemon juice, palm sugar, and the method of packing and shipping until reaching a final agreement for a commercial partnership that complies with the applicable laws in the two countries.
