The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Eng. Mohamed Hassan Qatna, discussed today with a delegation from the National Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences ways of cooperation in the field of agricultural scientific research and fisheries development.
Minister Qatana stressed the importance of cooperation and exchange of experiences with the Russian side in modern technologies in all fields of agriculture, indicating that Syria has great experiences in the field of scientific agricultural research.
The members of the Russian delegation reviewed the areas concerned by the center and its readiness to provide what is necessary to develop cooperation with the Syrian side.
The meeting comes within the work of the joint Syrian-Russian meeting, which is being held at the Conferences Palace in Damascus to follow up on the work of the international conference on the return of refugees.
