With the participation of 164 companies and an area of 4,590 square meters, the Iranian Products Exhibition will start next Monday on the grounds of the exhibition city in Damascus.
The head of the Syrian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Fahd Darwish, said in a statement to SANA that the exhibition will witness the display of many Iranian commodity groups, which include medical equipment, construction and building materials, architectural designs, agricultural tools, oil, gas and petrochemical equipment, in addition to food, textiles, cars and others.
Darwish pointed out that the exhibition, which continues until the 3rd of next month, has a wide participation of the private sector, with a rate of up to 70 percent, expressing his hope that Iranian companies will reach during it the signing of contracts and understandings with Syrian businessmen, which contributes to strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
