Following this decision, the unions meeting in general assembly decided "unanimously" to occupy the factory and "not to respect the totally illegal court decision", declared David Gistau, departmental manager of the CGT, promising to "not let go".
A difficult situation
Elected officials from the department and the Occitanie region denounced Renault's decision.
“I have made the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister face up to their responsibilities.
We cannot always hide behind the CEO of Renault, a company whose main shareholder is the State, ”said CGT leader Philippe Martinez.
