The Senate dominated by the right-wing opposition prematurely interrupted last Tuesday the examination at first reading of the finance bill for 2022, by rejecting the “

revenue

” part, thus giving up discussing the appropriations of the various ministries. Instead, the Senate included on its agenda Tuesday and Wednesday a series of seven thematic debates (communities, environment, economy, justice and security, Overseas, education, public accounts).

The president of the RDPI group, François Patriat, denounced to the press "

a political coup

", criticizing "

the inconsistency

" and "

the irresponsibility

" of "

the abandonment

" of the budget discussion in favor of debates "

incantation and accusation, with no real solutions proposed

”.

"

”.

" and "

", added Alain Richard.
