The very slow rise of women at the head of companies


DECRYPTION - They only represented 13% of managers recruited in the first half of the year from large global groups.

The number of women appointed CEOs of large groups around the world almost doubled in the first six months of 2021, compared to the previous semester.

But they are still very few in number since they only represented 13% of managers recruited over this period, against 6% in the last half of 2020, according to the 8th edition of the annual “Route to the Top” study carried out by the recruitment agency Heidrick & Struggles.
