After two years of living in the midst of an unprecedented health crisis, health and science are subjects at the heart of the concerns of the French.
On the occasion of the Big Bang Health, OpinionWay, in partnership with the Vyv Group and
Le Figaro
, surveyed a sample of 1,014 people representative of French people aged 18 and over.

The sinking of France in the vaccine race has highlighted the weakening of scientific research.
France's market share in the production of pharmaceutical products in Europe has been halved in ten years (2005-2015).
However, 46% of those polled believe that the situation in France in terms of scientific research remains unchanged.
Conversely, 41% believe that France is indeed experiencing a dropout.
While 6 million French people have not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19, 70% of those questioned are in favor of compulsory vaccination, against 30% who are not at all in favor with a predominance of the youngest, 45% are between 25 and 34 years old.
Fear of loss of autonomy
Another major subject, issues of dependency.
Thirty billion euros.
It is the annual cost of supporting the loss of autonomy of the elderly, which includes care, human or technical assistance and accommodation.
By 2030, this budget will increase significantly due to the aging of the population.
Six in ten French people say they are ready to contribute a few euros more per month to finance dependency-related expenses.

Old age is not always accompanied by a loss of autonomy, but the subject worries the French.
The loss of autonomy is by far the main fear (56% of those questioned).
Another apprehension: the disease.
19% of French people fear being affected by a pathology when they are very old.
The idea of having to live in a specialized institution is also feared: 14% of respondents fear having to leave their home.
