The CGT and FO again demanded Monday a "
boost
" for the minimum wage, two days before the publication of the final inflation figure for November which should induce a new automatic increase.
"
I hope there will be a real boost,
" said the secretary general of Force Ouvrière, Yves Veyrier, on France Inter.
We will know the amount of the automatic increase in the minimum wage on Wednesday, after the publication by INSEE of the final inflation figure at the end of November.

The government can choose to go beyond this automatic increase, but the panel of economists consulted before each increase spoke out last week against this possibility - as every time since its first opinion in 2008.
The unions will be able to present their arguments to the National Commission for Collective Bargaining (CNNCEFP) which meets on Wednesday 15 in the afternoon.
Yves Veyrier called for a "
real taking into account
" of the opinion of the unions and a "
real debate on the level of the minimum wage
".
For the CGT also "
there is an urgent need to increase wages,
" said Benjamin Amar, host of the collective wages at the Confederation, during a press conference at the CGT headquarters in Montreuil.
"
Government checks
", such as the exceptional energy checks which start to be sent on Monday, "
pose a double problem: first the bills fall every month and this check for 100 euros is one-off and totally below the needs.
Then these aids are paid with the money of the citizen taxpayer where it is of course up to the employer to pay the increase in wages,
”he argued.

The CGT demands an increase in the minimum wage to the tune of 2,000 euros gross, the thawing of the index point in the public service, the automatic revaluation of branch minima at each increase in the minimum wage, he recalled.
