Stock indices in the Gulf stock exchanges fell today, due to the increase in infections from the new mutation of the Corona virus, Omicron.
According to Reuters, the main stock indexes in Saudi Arabia fell 1.3 percent to 11,160 points, Abu Dhabi 2.3 percent to 8,651 points, Dubai 3.6 percent to 3,157 points, the Sultanate of Oman 3.0 percent to 4,043 points, and Kuwait 0.6 percent to 7,501 points, while the Qatar and Bahrain markets were closed for a public holiday.
