Oil prices rose today, supported by the decline of the dollar, amid optimism about global growth, despite the intensification of the governments of Australia and some European countries aimed at slowing the spread of the new strain of the Corona virus "Omicron".
And the British Reuters news agency reported that US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 35 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $73.11 a barrel.
Brent crude futures rose 40 cents, also equivalent to 0.5%, to $75.69 a barrel.
