The Central Bank of Syria announced today that, starting next Monday, economic actors can submit their requests to raise the ceiling of bank withdrawals to the bank you deal with, with a statement of the actual need for daily cash flow.

A statement issued by the bank, of which SANA received a copy, said: “Within the framework of the Central Bank of Syria’s policy to manage liquidity within the banking sector, and with the aim of giving sufficient flexibility to address requests for activities whose nature of work requires daily cash withdrawals that exceed the specified ceilings, starting from the third of next January, it has become possible for These activities require that you submit their requests to the bank that you deal with, indicating the actual need for daily cash flow.”

“Then the concerned banks study these requests in light of the justifications provided and the liquidity available to them, and these requests are submitted to the Central Bank so that they can be properly processed,” according to the statement.
