Hassia Industrial City achieved revenues of about 7.157 billion Syrian pounds, and the number of investors in the city rose to 934 after 40 new investors entered the city and 13 public entities during the past year.
The director of the city, Dr. Bassam Al-Mansour, said in a statement to SANA reporter in Homs that the number of facilities in the city is 934, with a capital estimated at about 150 billion pounds, and employs more than 25 thousand workers, including 287 productive facilities with a capital of more than 61 billion pounds and employs about 9 thousand workers, while the number of workers is about 287. The facilities under construction are 647 facilities, with a capital estimated at about 89 billion pounds, and provide job opportunities for more than 16 thousand national labor and technicians.
Al-Mansour pointed out that the percentage of the units sold reached more than 64 percent in the various industrial areas, and 220 units were sold in the food area out of 459 units within the region, and 398 units were sold in the engineering area out of 448 units, and in the chemical area, 220 units out of 315 were sold. Divided, and the textile area witnessed the sale of 54 of the two hundred divisions, in addition to the sale of the entire divisions in the administrative and service area, which amounted to 42 divisions.
Al-Mansour pointed to the developmental and strategic steps taking place in Hasya Industrial City. Last year, in cooperation and coordination with the Homs Chamber of Industry, a joint-stock company was established to generate electric power through solar collectors in the industrial city of Hasya, which will start its work soon and generate about 35 megawatts of electrical energy, which supports the electrical network. in the country in addition to supporting the industrialists with the necessary electrical energy.
And the city director indicated that spending on investment projects implemented in the city last year amounted to 4.162 billion pounds, mostly for infrastructure projects, pointing to a package of facilities offered to investors.
