Oil prices fell today as investors took profits after two days of gains amid fears of sharp increases in US interest rates.
Reuters reported that US light crude futures fell 52 cents, or 0.63 percent, to settle at $82.12 a barrel, after rising 5.6 percent in the previous two days.
Brent crude futures fell 20 cents to settle at $84.47 a barrel, or 0.24 percent, after rising by 4.7 percent in the previous two sessions.
