The A11 Le Mans - Nantes motorway has been cut off from traffic since an accident involving a heavy goods vehicle which caught fire overnight from Friday to Saturday, Vinci Autoroutes announced.
Around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, after the Angers-Est interchange, a heavy goods vehicle had an accident and caught fire.

Firefighters are on site to extinguish the fire (loading of the heavy goods vehicle made up of electronic components)
,” said the Vinci group in a press release.

The release of smoke requires the establishment of a security perimeter, therefore the left lane is neutralized in the Nantes to Le Mans direction
", according to the same source.
Diversion measures have been taken on the A11 and the A87 (Angers-Vendée).
