Electricity prices: industrialists demand more from the executive

“At the end of last year, we decided to lower our production by 15%

, explains Guillaume de Goÿs, CEO of Aluminum Dunkerque.

We posted an operating loss of 5 million euros in December, while we had expected a gain of 5 million.

And this differential is explained exclusively by the price of electricity.”

EDF not enthusiastic

The situation is all the more frustrating as

“our order books are full”

And the aluminum producer is not the only one to make such a decision…
