As part of a settlement agreement due to a class action lawsuit against the municipality, the authority undertook to grant a discount to residents who pay the property tax payments through a standing order.

The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality's response is as follows:
"The truth is that this is old news. Several years ago, the municipality initiated a move to return residents' property tax balances in an easy and simple way. Anyone who owns a property registered for property taxes is welcome to check "Also in water and sewage fees, or a maintenance levy.
