A still high level of unemployment
In France, according to DARES figures, the number of job seekers stands at 5.546 million.
However, in certain sectors in tension, we are witnessing a real shortage of candidates, linked in particular to a mismatch between supply and demand.
It must be said that the health crisis has reshuffled the cards of the labor market, with an increased number of employees leaving their jobs and/or retraining.
According to a Hellowork survey published in July 2021, 89% of recruiters say they are ready to increase the salaries offered to attract candidates.
Among them, nearly 10% even say they are ready to increase it
“a lot”
!
The shortage of candidates in certain sectors is a brake for companies, but it can work in favor of job seekers.
Provided, of course, that you adopt the right codes.
How, then, to speed up the connection between companies and candidates?
An intermediary to support business growth PeoplePro
PeoplePro, a true recruitment intermediary
The PeoplePro service, which will be launched on April 4, operates on two different components:
A company component
, which offers companies in sectors in tension (especially tech) personalized help with recruitment and HR.
PeoplePro finds for these companies a qualified workforce, which allows them to develop in a sustainable way but also supports the company via various HR services (on/offboarding, payroll management, international management, etc.)
A component for professionals
, which offers a personalized service.
Professionals simply need to register on the site, which gives them access to various resources (some of which are freely accessible), to articles and podcasts, to online training, and finally to a job platform which highlights relationship between companies and candidates.
Maud Grenier, recruitment and HR expert (especially in the startup ecosystem, in which she has worked for the past 5 years), is at the head of this project.
As she received many messages from job seekers, she realized that there was a need not only from companies, but also from candidates.
What if it were possible to bridge the delta that sometimes separates these two worlds?
It is in any case the mission of PeoplePro, which proposes to carry out a personalized follow-up with companies which are struggling to recruit, and to help professionals to optimize their application.
As such, all profiles are concerned, whether they are juniors looking for their first internship, experienced managers who have a specific question or senior profiles who are struggling to find a job.
The objective: to become a true intermediary between professionals and businesses.
While the job search (or the search for candidates, on the corporate side) can be long and grueling, there are plenty of solutions.
Proving that in terms of employment, there is no inevitability: this is one of the missions that awaits PeoplePro.
