Moscow, SANA- Russia announced that it will ask its partners in the International Space Station to buy its space services in currency

Moscow-Sana

Russia has announced that it will ask its partners in the International Space Station to buy its space services in the Russian ruble, after its withdrawal from the International Space Station project.

"Foreign partners can buy Russian space services with the Russian ruble upon Moscow's withdrawal from the International Space Station project after 2024," said Dmitry Rogozin, head of Roscosmos, in statements to Russian media today. At the same time, he believed that a compromise could be reached in the middle of The path to save the international station and avoid its uncontrolled fall to the ground.

Rogozin noted that Russia will notify the partners if it decides to reduce activities on the International Space Station and deploy the Russian orbital service station in implementation of predetermined procedures, stressing the impossibility of creating the same technical means that Russia uses to maintain the operation of the International Station.

Rogozin warned that the International Space Station will turn into scrap after 2024 if it is not maintained, revealing that the Russian space company has ended its cooperation with Western agencies in the International Space Station project.

Rogozin explained that the decision in this regard will be issued by the Russian government and not by Roscosmos, stressing at the same time that restoring normal relations between the partners in the International Space Station and other joint projects is possible only through the complete and unconditional lifting of illegal sanctions against Russia.

On April 2, Rogozin said that the Russian state space company would soon submit a report to the country's leadership announcing its specific proposals on the date for ending cooperation within the International Space Station with the space administrations of the United States, Canada, the European Union and Japan.
