Every holiday, the dilemma arises as to what gift should be given to loved ones.

More recently than ever, there is a tendency to purchase a "gift card" that is considered an available and convenient option for the buyer, but also allows for realization at a time that is convenient for the recipient of the gift.

It does not matter if you are late or hosted, keep it easy or severe or are content to read the Haggadah only until the "editor's table", buying holiday gifts is a custom that very few Israelis do not share.

A new study conducted by the BUYME brand of gifts and experiences for Passover sheds light on the habits of giving Israelis gifts for the holiday.

In recent years, there has been an upward trend in the amounts that Israelis invest in gifts for Passover, when in 2019, before the outbreak of the corona virus, Israelis invested an average of NIS 335 per gift for their loved ones, and in 2022, the amount jumps by 7.5%.

The BUYME study found that this year, the average amount Israelis spend on a holiday gift is NIS 358.

What mainly buy in this amount?

Here are some interesting findings from the study:

"A desire to diversify, innovate and surprise"

Tomer Cohen, CEO of BUYME

: "We regularly monitor the consumption habits of our customers in order to innovate and give a wide range of gifts and to enable everyone to give and receive the most suitable gifts for them.

"

We see that one of the important components in choosing a gift is a desire to diversify, innovate and surprise.

Israelis are looking for unique gifts that will leave the recipient of the gift with a taste of more and a feeling that the other party thought of them personally when choosing the gift for them.

It is a privilege for us to allow Israelis to give experiential gifts to the people they love. "
