The Ministry of Tourism announced the invitation of offers for tourism investment for three sites in Damascus and its countryside that provide a range of tourism and entertainment services.
The director of projects in the ministry, Engineer Dareen Muhammad, said in a statement to SANA, “The first investment for the Shaghour Jawani Obalin site in Old Damascus, according to the investment formula (ROT), aims to re-equip and rehabilitate it as a heritage restaurant with a capacity of 200 to 220 chairs at a 4-star level with complementary services.” .
She explained that the implementation period is one and a half years from the date of delivery, and the investment period is 10 years, noting that the fifth of next May is the last date for submitting offers.
She pointed out that the second site is in the Circassian neighborhood in Damascus, and according to the same investment formula, to equip and rehabilitate a two-star cafeteria tea room with no more than 30 chairs during the implementation period of 4 months from the date of handing over the site and the investment period of 10 years, noting that tomorrow, Thursday, is the last date for submitting offers. .
Muhammad added, “The third site is the Damascus Branch Lawyer’s Club, located in the Yafour area in the Damascus countryside, which includes the construction of two-, three- and four-star restaurants, with a number of chairs of up to 900 chairs, with complementary tourism and entertainment activities, and an implementation period of two years and 18 years of investment, noting that the last date for submitting offers It is the 12th of next May.”
