Last year, Gifas members achieved a turnover of 55.2 billion euros (+ 7.2% compared to 2020), of which 83% internationally.
On the commercial front, order intake rose sharply, to 50.1 billion (+68%), thanks to defence, which accounted for 55% of the total.

It's historic, for the first time, defense is overtaking commercial activity.
It has played, like space activity, a role of shock absorber.
It is intended to be strengthened in the years to come,”
