Fynn Kliemann (in March in Berlin): Aren't his label's masks produced in Europe after all?

They can no longer be found in the About You range on Friday afternoon: The fabric masks from the textile company Global Tactics, in which the YouTuber Fynn Kliemann is involved.
According to a report by "Wirtschaftswoche", the online fashion retailer has stopped selling mouth and nose covers.
The case is being checked internally in order to get an accurate picture of the facts and the masks have been taken offline as a first step, the magazine quotes a spokeswoman for About You as saying.
The background is research by “ZDF Magazin Royale”, according to which Kliemann may have lied about the place and conditions of production of the masks.
Global Tactics may have had the masks produced in Bangladesh and Vietnam at very low cost.
In April 2020 – at the beginning of the corona pandemic, when fabric masks were in short supply – Kiemann himself advertised his “fairly produced, reusable mouth coverings from Europe” online.
In his show, Jan Böhmermann quoted from several alleged text messages from the YouTuber and entrepreneur.
These suggest that Kliemann himself may have favored Bangladesh as a production location and deliberately concealed this origin.
In addition, Kliemann and his business partner are said to have ensured that hundreds of thousands of defective masks were donated to refugee camps in Bosnia and Greece.
The masks were available from Kliemann's own online shop "Oderso" - and from the fashion retailer About You.
According to ZDF research, however, he should not have known where the masks were actually made.
Kliemann himself has not commented on the presentation of the ZDF magazine to SPIEGEL, but announced his own statement on the allegations.
In a video published on Instagram a few days before the Böhmermann show was broadcast, Kliemann spoke to producers in Portugal when asked about mask production by Global Tactics.
